Special Educational Needs at Gorsewood
Gorsewood Primary prides itself on being an inclusive school which works collaboratively with pupils, families and external agencies to provide the best possible outcome for all its pupils. We believe that all children can "Be their Best Self!" and we welcome the positive contribution that every child makes to our school community. As a school, we offer an inclusive curriculum and environment which aims to support all children to love learning and enjoy making academic, social and emotional progress.
Our vision is that all children fulfil their potential and make a positive contribution, irrespective of any barriers to their learning.
Mrs Simmons is our SENCO (Special Educational Need Coordinator) at Gorsewood and is the first point of contact for any special educational needs and disability information. Mrs Simmons is a qualified teacher with the National SENCo Award.
