Headteacher's Blog March 2016

Date: 2nd May 2016 @ 4:31pm

Spring is here and we have had snow! Never the less Gorsewood is an exciting place to be. We had a fun filled action packed day last Thursday celebrating World Book Day. Our children have been participating in a vast rage of sports suitable for all abilities including Boccia, Futsal, Netball, Paralympics and Gymnastics. Check out the diary dates for yet more activities.

You will no doubt have spotted that Preschool have an alternative entrance. The intention is that this will relieve the congestion in the front entrance at key times of the day. A bonus is the creation of an additional space for outdoor play accessible at all times. Preschool will continue to use the Reception class outdoor area as well as the hall and school grounds.

Please feel free to see me if you have any worries or concerns about anything. If I am unavailable at that time I will make every effort to respond to you the same day or as soon as possible. I find it far more effective to discuss concerns with you than for it to be shared on Facebook before I have had a chance to deal with it. Thank you for your cooperation.
