Runcorn Cup 2017

2 teams from Gorsewood joined 18 Runcorn Primary Schools to take part in the Runcorn Cup 2017. It was a fantastic event with both Gorsewood teams drawn in the same group it made for some interesting group matches.  Gorsewood A went onto win the group, and straight through the quarter finals into the semi finals. A golden goal saw them just pipped to the post for the final. The 3rd place play off was equally tense ending in penalties! We finished a respectable 4th,  but the main objective was achieved as we all had fun.
