Reading with Owls

Wow! What an exciting afternoon we had in year 2.

Anita ,from Hack Back CIC, came to visit with her amazing owls... Idris the African Spotted Eagle Owl, Mango the Barn Owl, Murray the Burrowing Owl and 7 week old Axl.

Ken from Runcorn Rotary Club also came to visit because it was thanks to him and his team that Anita was able to come and share her knowledge and Owl experience with us. We were also lucky enough to get a copy of the book to keep that they read to us, 'Murray the smallest owl'. 

We had an amazing afternoon learning about the owls and other birds of prey. Anita was able to answer all of our questions and she said she was very impressed with the questions we asked. We learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Anita.
