Halton Arts Project

Over the past 5 weeks year 3 have been very busy...

They have been working on an arts project organised through Halton Borough Council.

The title given was 'A Journey to...'

Miss Oakley , Mrs Gregg and Miss Hampson met to decide what the focus of 'our journey' would be. They decided to link it to our school motto 'Dream Believe Achieve'.

Miss Oakley then spoke with Mrs Faragher who shared some of her ideas for what our work could look like. We had already decided to do some multi media work, creative writing and portraits. Mrs Faragher came up with the idea for our tree of knowledge.

This morning, with the help of Commando Joe, Miss Oakley and Mrs Faragher went to Halton Lea Shopping city to assemble and display year 3s hard work.

It looks amazing!

28 schools are taking part in the project and from today at 3.30pm it's open for public viewing. The Mayor is going to attend at 4.30pm to open it officially.
